IPG Health’s Mariela Orochena on cultivating the next generation of healthcare marketers

In the latest from Pharma Live, Mariela Orochena, our Executive Director of Talent Acquisition, weighs in on what it takes to cultivate the next generation of marketers in healthcare and pharma, from networking to portfolio reviews and more.  

“We focus on providing students the opportunity to network with and learn the ins-and-outs of our work and culture by learning from employees across different departments and projects,” Mariela said. “This includes activities such as learning the background of our pro bono campaigns and participating in brainstorming sessions with our Design Thinking Strategy team.” 

By participating in portfolio reviews, she said our creatives also “help future healthcare marketers hone their skills prior to entering the job market.”
