Dana Maiman brings the intellectual prowess and strategic rigor of her law degree to her position as CEO of IPG Health, and it has proven to be an unstoppable combination for more than two decades.
As CEO and President of the FCB Health Network, Dana grew the organization from a 65-person unit to a highly awarded 23-agency creative network with 2,800+ staff in key global markets. Under her leadership, the network achieved industry-leading year-over-year revenue growth, including record-breaking gains in 2020, and earned countless accolades and an enviable reputation. Notably, the FCB Health Network was named Cannes Lion’s 2020/2021 Healthcare Network of the Year, and 2020/2021 CLIO Health Network of the Year.
Intimately involved with every client, Dana’s strategic and growth-oriented approach made her an indispensable partner to clients. Focused on accelerating clients’ growth and impact, she broadened the network’s offering through the creation of specialized capabilities including: patient services through YuzuYello, data analytics through Solve(d), brand experience design through BX, and creative production services through Studio Rx Productions. Under Dana’s leadership, the FCB Health Network grew to include seven specialized offerings, representing one of the industry’s most comprehensive healthcare marketing offering.
Dana lives by the bedrock principles she created for the network – doing the right thing for her clients, their brands, her people, and the public. A lifelong advocate for inclusion and social justice, she implemented a mandatory unconscious bias training across the network in 2015. In 2020, she invested in an intensive 10-week inclusivity program mandatory for every manager across the network (1,000+ people). Dana also ensured that the network created pro bono work that combats racism and promotes inclusion in the healthcare industry and beyond. One of her core leadership values is giving people space to explore and experiment, which has led to powerful new offerings and pro-bono work.
Dana’s achievements, dedication to excellence, and visionary mindset have earned industry recognition. In 2021, she was named Agency Executive of the Year on the coveted Ad Age A-List, the first time the prestigious honor was bestowed upon a healthcare marketing leader. In 2019, she ranked #8 on the PR Week & MM&M “Health Influencer 50”, and was named 2017 Med Ad News “Industry Person of the Year.”
Over her career, Maiman has worked in virtually every therapeutic category, from high science and OTC, to devices and diagnostics, across every phase of a brand’s lifecycle, integrating her professional, consumer, patient, payer and digital expertise. Prior to joining FCB, she served as director of client services for Grey and Harrison & Star/Omnicom in New York.
