IPG Health Announces New European Leadership Team

IPG Health announced a new and proven regional and country leadership team in Europe, appointed to support the booming growth of its recently aligned FCB Health and McCann Health agencies in the region. These leadership appointments come six months after the creation of IPG Health, which aligned all FCB Health and McCann Health agencies globally under one network and a unified leadership team.

Joerg Hempelmann has been appointed President of IPG Health Europe, leading the network’s offering across the region with a leadership team that includes Jon Kerrigan as Chief Financial Officer, Caroline Smith as Executive Director of Talent, and Jerome Cholet as Director of PR & Communications. Hempelmann and the newly assembled team are responsible for optimizing the network’s offering, growing its client partnerships, and fostering greater connectivity and collaboration across its agencies, disciplines, and countries in Europe.

In Europe, IPG Health brings together around 500 global health communication professionals, across nineteen offices, in 11 countries. Newly appointed European country leadership roles include: 

  • In the UK, Jonathan Kukathasan is the newly appointed President of IPG Health UK. Kukathasan has been part of the IPG family for 17 years, and most recently served as President of McCann Health UK since April 2021. Jonathan has a track record of leading international teams on multi-market and global brands, Jonathan will oversee the 250 employees in London and Hampshire.
     
  • Philippe Pariente is leading the network’s offering in France as President of IPG Health France. Prior to this, he was President for McCann Health France since 2009. He has a track record of leading international teams on multi-market and global brands, including major brands from almost all big pharmaceutical companies.
     
  • In Germany, Max Lechner has been appointed President of IPG Health Germany. He has been with the network for over three years. After stations in Munich, New York and Stuttgart he managed the offices in Frankfurt am Main and Munich. His main clients are 6 out the top 9 Pharma Companies in the world
     
  • Loris Marchet was EVP, Group Management Director Europe and General Manager Spain for FCB Health Europe since 2020 and with FCB Health Europe since 2018. Before he was Managing Partner with Global Healthcare and Client Service Director for McCann Health. Marchet has a track record of leading international teams on multi-market and global brands, including major brands from almost all big pharmaceutical companies.
