In the Healthcare Communications Association’s latest publication “Innovation Uncovered,” CMC Connect’s Caroline Shepherd and Órla Weir join Sorcero’s Dipanwita Das and Richard Graves to discuss AI-powered analytics’ impact on publications, research and clinical practice.
“The various applications of AI are starting to provide novel measures and are enriching publication databases and indices with new methods of calculating scientific and clinical impact,” the team notes.
The current quantitative methods for measuring and analyzing literature are limited, the team said, and adding AI can demonstrate the reach of published scientific research as well as the widespread adoption of new concepts
“By employing advanced analytics enhanced by AI, we have a real opportunity to more accurately measure the real-world impact of medical publications on clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.”
