Junji Yokokawa

Junji, Lead, IPG Health in Japan, began his journey with the network over 20 years ago. From the start, he has played an increasingly vital leadership role across countless new product launches, as well as additional indications and direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaigns for a broad range of clients and target audiences. With a diverse skillset, Junji has been instrumental in work ranging from planning and executing HCP communications to patient adherence programs to disease awareness campaigns for the general public.  

After joining McCann Health Japan in 1999, and following a two-year stint at McCann Health New York, Junji returned to Tokyo in 2015 to oversee the overall company operations as RX Chief Operating Officer. In 2017, Junji was instrumental in the development of McCann Health’s presence in Osaka to service clients in the Kansai area. A year later, he was promoted to Managing Director to lead day-to-day operations.  

Having successfully transformed the McCann Health agencies in Japan, and ensuring both their offerings and structure were competitive in the ever-changing Japanese health marketplace while achieving business results, Junji was promoted to Representative Director, President of McCann Health Japan in April 2021.
