Andrew Chamlin

As Chief Marketing Officer, Andrew builds and strengthens valued client relationships throughout the global IPG Health network.

Prior to joining IPG Health, Andrew served as Global Chief Marketing Officer at McCann Health, where he nurtured key strategic partnerships with top pharmaceutical clients as well as Coca Cola, Bausch & Lomb, L’Oreal, and the United States Postal Service.

Andrew came to McCann Health from Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, a biotech start-up based in Cambridge, MA. As Senior Vice President of Communications, he built the company’s digital marketing Center of Excellence and led both the market research and marketing operations departments. Andrew further explored his interest in startups with roles at health and wellness startup, Revolution Health—where he was hired by Steve Case of AOL to lead their marketing and advertising sales division.

Andrew honed his digital credentials at WebMD, where he served as General Manager of medscape.com. His division was responsible for the delivery and development of transformative marketing and promotional programs for global pharmaceutical and health and wellness clients.

In addition to startup experience, Andrew spent several years at two pharmaceutical giants. As Director of Marketing at Pfizer, Andrew led teams in the respiratory and cardiovascular franchises. Zyrtec’s advertising campaign resulted in Pfizer’s first Gold Effie and contributed to the brand’s blockbuster status with $1B in sales. While at Pfizer, Andrew also launched Caduet, a Lipitor/Norvasc line extension. Prior to Pfizer, Andrew was at Johnson & Johnson where he ultimately served internationally as Group Product Director for the women’s health consumer products franchise.

Andrew holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin and earned his MBA from Columbia Business School.
