Write It Forward FAQs

How is Write It Forward different from the Internship program?

The program is different from our Bold Beginnings Internship program as Write It Forward focuses specifically on training high-science copywriters with the aim of, ultimately, employing participants at the end of the 12-week training program, whereas the Internship program is a summer program across all disciplines.

How is Write It Forward different from The Residency program?

The program is different from The Residency program as The Residency is focused on training participants from all disciplines who already have significant experience in general advertising and are looking to move into healthcare advertising. The Write It Forward program focuses on entry-level participants who are exclusively interested in copywriting.

Do you accept applications from writers who live outside of the United States?

At this time, we are only accepting applications from candidates who reside in the United States.

Can I participate if I am still finishing my certificate or degree course?

Yes, we accept applications from participants who feel they can juggle their remaining course credits with a 40-hour work week (approximately 9am-5pm Monday to Friday) on their designated team in the IPG Health Network. Some participants use the Write It Forward program to fulfill their final semester of "Internship" requirement and then continue working with us at the completion of the program.

Can I apply if I am changing careers or re-entering my career after a hiatus?
Yes! Science copywriters come from all kinds of interesting backgrounds.  We'd love to hear your story.

What is the culture like at in the IPG Health Network?

The best way we can describe it is that everyone can be whoever they are. We get smart, creative things done and we also have quite a bit of fun. Many of us think of our teams as second families.
